Special Edition Packs for Film II

Watchmen: Director's Cut Nite Owl Ship

Sure there's an Ultimate Cut of Watchmen out which includes the 24 minutes of cut scenes the director's cut does as well as the Black Freighter animated movie cut into the film to more accurately mimic the comic -- but THIS version of Watchmen comes with a light-up Archie which can be removed from the base. The DVDs themselves actually pop out of the base holding the Owl Ship. It also comes with all the special features and a digital copy of the theatrical movie on their own discs. $107.99

LOST: The Complete Fifth Season Dharma Initiative Orientation Kit

Few shows in the history of television cater to fans quite like LOST does. The brains behind the show do a regular LOST podcast, do interviews and then put out rad DVD sets like this one. The penultimate season DVD set dubbed the "Dharma Initiative Orientation Kit" really goes all out with the extras. Once you open the box you might be surprised to find a VHS tape which has an extended version of the video from the barracks, a Dharma patch, a map of the barracks, three leaflets on various areas, a CD of Geronimo Jackson's "Dharma Lady" and even a copy of the truce agreement in a sealed envelope among others. On top of that, the DVDs themselves come in slipcases that look like old school floppy discs. We've got our fingers crossed for an epic, complete series once the last season comes to a close. Maybe something in the foot of the statue. $88.49

Futurama: The Complete Series Bender Head

Probably our favorite new robot of the last few decades, Bender has achieved a special place in our hearts and now he can have a special place on our shelves with this Futurama set which comes inside his own head. The back of his shiny metal dome pops open to reveal 18 discs which include every episode of the original series along with the four movies: Bender's Big Score, The Best With A Billion Backs, Bender's Game and Into The Wild Green Yonder. $107.99

Reservoir Dogs: 15th Anniversary Gas Can Edition

Odds are, if you're a Reservoir Dogs fan, you probably already had the movie on DVD by the time this 15th anniversary version came out, but the coolness factor might have brought you in. Not only does the outer case call back to the metal gas can Mr. Blonde used to torture Marvin the cop, but inside the actual DVD holder looks like a matchbook! $31.99

Transformers: Transforming Cases

It's rare that you come along with a DVD case that does what the characters in the movies do. In this case, Paramount came out with a Target-exclusive version of the first Michael Bay movie in a case that transformed from a box to Optimus Prime. The practice would be repeated a few years later for the sequel, Revenge Of The Fallen, but this time in the form of Bumblebee. $29.98

Mad Men: Season One Lighter Case

The show that brought style back to television and Hollywood kicked off a mini-revolution in DVD presentation with the Mad Men Season One Lighter Case. The lighter top flips up to reveal a series of red discs. Hopefully a later season will come with a decanter full of whiskey. $39.95
