Prop Reproduction - 1955 Letter to Doc

Reproduced the letter prop as seen in BTTF one from a screen grab taken from net. The shot was highly pixelated and needed quite a lot of attention. The black colour range was selected and smoothed using the refine edge. Missing pieces and spaces were re inked with the tablet and drawn over. The result was much better although looked too clean to be written by hand. To get around this a texture was created into a mask to etch into the ink a little futher and I also added a really subtle emboss just to raise the ink a little, giving the appearance of ink. This was then applied to the paper samples I'd created shown in the previous post.

If you take a close look at the origional image found at Back to the future props (.com) you will notice a couple of things don't add up. In the reproduction I've tried to stay as faithful to the film version as possible.
