Re Working the Concept

Ok so a few things have needed to change with the wrap around but I actually think the change has really pushed the design a lot further and created some pretty cool results. I was taking some measurements from the case using a strip of paper that I folded round a bunch of times and I was noticing the bulky'ness of some of the features, particularly the lock on the front. The lock extrudes a good 5mm in certain sections which would actually make the card distort and actually not sit neat at all when wrapped.

To get around this I've worked in the cut out section for the upper handle and flowed them lines down over the front and through the lock. This greatly reduced the surface area to the front of the case which I was actually pleased about as the front was looking a mess at this point anyway. The new layout allowed the design to be a lot more dynamic which is giving a much less flat result.
